Designer and artist Arthur Analts works on a wide range of projects—design, sculpture, architecture, graphics, product, and exhibition design—and has gained international recognition for his work. He is the lead designer of the Baltic pavilion We Are One at Expo 2025 Osaka, and recently Arthur’s scenography for the performance of the band Tautumeitas was seen on the big Eurovision stage. In the Nice Touch section, Arthur shares his way of finding inspiration.
«It’s scary, but it’s also nice to get out of your comfort zone — to listen to music you don’t usually listen to, to watch a film that doesn’t match your usual taste, to read a book by an author you don’t agree with, or to talk to someone with whom you have absolutely nothing in common. Exploring the unfamiliar not only broadens your horizons but also gives you the opportunity to look at yourself and your work from the outside. Who knows? Maybe that’s how you’ll find the inspiration you’ve been looking for!»

Designer Arthur Analts gained widespread recognition in 2018 when he represented Latvia with the exhibition Matter to Matter and received a gold medal at the London Design Biennale. The interactive glass wall, which was included in the London exhibition, has also become the central element of the Baltic pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka in a new interpretation.
