The aim of the project implemented by Krasta Keramika is to promote cooperation between artists and designers from the Baltic countries, as well as to strengthen the community of professionals in this field. As with every edition, two artists from each country were carefully selected — Latvia is represented by Kiwie and Oskars Pavlovskis, Lithuania by Stasele Jakunskaite and Herman Drowning, while Estonia is represented by Kroot Kukkur and the artist duo DUP3.

The presentation and exhibition of the fourth edition of Streets of Baltics took place in Tartu, at the newly opened Kett Gallery, as part of the Stencibility Street Art Festival, which has been held in Tartu for more than 15 years. The first Streets of Baltics mugs were released in 2018, and with this edition, the project’s collection now includes 26 unique cups, designed by ceramicist Esmeralda Purvišķe and featuring artwork by various artists from the Baltic region.

Krasta Keramika is a ceramics studio in Riga, Latvia, founded in 2017 by Esmeralda Purvišķe and Zahars Ze. The studio creates handmade contemporary objects with an artistic touch, using porcelain casting techniques, and also makes ceramic pieces from clay and stoneware. The creative team behind Krasta Keramika believes in the power of craftsmanship to make life more beautiful.
